Journal Of Hellenic Religion (J. Hell. relig.)

It is with great pleasure that the Editors of the Journal of Hellenic Religion (ISSN 1748-7811, eISSN 1748-782X) invite you to contribute to the Journal’s 14th Volume which is forthcoming in September 2021.

The editors welcome contributions that are focusing on the study of ancient Greek religion, theology, and mythology. Articles could include, but not be limited to, archaeology, philology, art history and visual studies, ancient, medieval, and Byzantine history, reception studies, and philosophy. The editors are equally interested in empirical and theoretical contributions.

IMPORTANT DATES

Article proposals should be submitted by 26 February 2021.

First article’s draft should be submitted by 28 May 2021.

Final article should be submitted by 30 July 2021.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Article proposals should include a 250-300 words abstract.

Requests for book reviews should be made to the editor by providing the title you are interested in and your institutional affiliation.

Contributions should follow the Oxford referencing style with endnotes and a full bibliography at the end of the paper.

The editors may request edits and alterations, and a summary of the peer-reviewed process will be send after the author’s request.

Authors retain their copyright.

The contributors should sign an Agreement to Publish based on the standards of good academic research practice for publications.

Submission of any material must be in electronic format (.doc ; .odt), accompanied by the full name, a current email, and postal address of the author(s), that will be send via an email to the editor.
